Quirijn Eijsbouts (1957) has studied in Groningen and specialized in surgery at the VU Hospital Amsterdam and the Kennemer Gasthuis in Haarlem. After his studies he joined the surgical team at De Heel Zaans Medisch Centrum. His thesis was supervised by prof.dr. H.J.Th.M. Haarman and dr. M.A. Cuesta.
